NOW IN A SEASON OF RENEWAL!
North Shore Baptist Church began in the late 1960's as a church plant in the form of a home Bible Study in this neighborhood. Over more than 50 years, the congregation grew and ministered to the community in traditional ways. People with different church backgrounds from the local community, transplants from around the country, and college and seminary students made up its congregation. The church has cycled through ebbs and flows and is now back to its roots as a small home fellowship group, meeting in the informal gathering space downstairs in our unique church building. Our reverence for God and our commitment to follow where He leads has not changed.
Right now the Lord is revitalizing the ministry of North Shore Baptist Church in new directions, guiding us into a fresh phase under a new vision to share God's Truth in more direct and practical ways through relationships with people in many kinds of life transition. We are meeting people at their place of need, to introduce them to Jesus, who meets all our needs. We desire to use the gifts and resources that God has given us to love and serve each other and our community for His glory.
NSBC enjoys connections with many other evangelical churches, schools and ministries, across denominations, in Peabody and the wider local community. This includes the North Shore Gospel Partnership, a collaboration of over 20 churches in Essex County and beyond.
We invite you to join with us for what God is doing in our midst, whatever form North Shore Baptist Church's ministry may take!

"But now, for a brief moment, the Lord our God has been gracious in leaving us a remnant and giving us a firm place in His sanctuary . . . and so God gives light to our eyes. He has granted us new life to rebuild the house of our God and repair its ruins." Ezra 9:8-9
